What we do
eSIM Atlas is an independent travel-eSIM comparison site. We line up data plans from providers such as Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Nomad, aloSIM and Ubigi so travellers can find the cheapest and best-value eSIM for their destination, and we maintain a phone eSIM-compatibility database.
How we collect prices
- We compile representative plans for each country and provider — data allowance, validity, price, 5G and hotspot support.
- Every plan is stamped with a last-checked date, and prices are refreshed on a regular schedule.
- Prices are indicative: the final price is always confirmed on the provider's own checkout, and can vary by promotion, currency and region.
How we rank plans
- Cheapest = the lowest entry price for a country.
- Best value = the lowest price per GB across metered plans (we compute $/GB = price ÷ GB).
- Best unlimited = the cheapest genuinely unlimited plan.
- Our price index excludes unlimited plans from the per-GB figure so the comparison stays fair.
Phone compatibility data
Our compatibility database records whether each phone, tablet or watch supports eSIM and dual eSIM, with release year and region caveats where support differs by market. Always confirm with your device settings before buying.
Provider ratings
Provider scores reflect coverage breadth, pricing, app quality and features. We do not publish fabricated user-review counts or star ratings — where we show a score, it is our own editorial assessment, not invented aggregate reviews.
How we make money
Some links to providers are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy — at no extra cost to you. This never changes our rankings: cheapest is always cheapest. We label affiliate links and include a disclosure on comparison pages.
Corrections
Spotted a price or spec that looks off? Data changes fast — tell us and we'll re-check. Accuracy and independence are the whole point of the site.
